Hand-Building Classes
One-on-One Hand-Building Class
A one-person hand-building class will be $90 for 1.5 hours.
Your instructor, Emily Tobin, will be there to guide you through your hand-building class. Depending on your experience with clay, you’ll be able to create your own little trinket dish, bowl, cup, or planter. If you have a more experienced background we could even get into sculpting little animals!
You will be given all the tools and materials at the lesson, so no need to bring anything unless you how your own tools you would prefer to use. You will be given enough clay and instruction until you are able to finish a piece you are satisfied with.
If you would like to keep your piece, I will keep it safe for you until you would like to come back and glaze it! The following class required to finish your piece would be one glazing class. This class would last an hour and would be an additional $50. After you glaze your piece, it will be fired and you will be able to take it home and keep it forever!
You can pick up your completed project by appointment.
Bring a friend for a two-person hand-building class! This 1.5 hour class will be $75 each, giving you both a $15 discount!
The two-person class will run similarly to the single-person class, it just gives you an opportunity to bring a friend.
